Teeth!

Ethan loves to brush his teeth. Anytime I'm in the bathroom, he comes charging in, climbs up onto the toilet and says "teeth!" and gets his toothbrush ready for me to turn the water on for him. I've been trying to teach him to spit after brushing, and he's been figuring it out slowly lately. Of course, it ends up all over the counter instead of the sink, but that's ok, he's getting the concept. Tonight when we put him to bed, Jordon was home and we were able to have family scriptures and prayer together and when we laid him in bed, we always sing him a primary song before saying goodnight. While we were singing, he was drinking his sippy of water and would then lean out the crib bars and spit. We couldn't help but laugh... Jordon didn't know why he was doing it, so I had to quickly explain that he's been learning to spit after brushing. So here we are laughing, trying not too, and trying to explain to him that we only spit when we brush our teeth. Just thought I'd share such a funny little story tonight, hope it made you smile too.
