Fall 2011

Here we go, a much needed update of our family happenings! This fall I've been spending a little time doing more sensory activities with Ethan. So we have had fun playing with Gak, silly putty, playdoh, etc... Once he got used to the textures, he's enjoyed these activities alot! (he's not big on getting his hands dirty) Ethan has been doing some speech therapy the last few months and we've seen great improvement in his speech! It sure helps to be able to communicate and understand your child, there is so much less frustration for all of us.

We were late this year doing pumpkin carving. Our apartment flooded with sewer water and on Halloween we were moving things in and out of our apartment so people could come in and replace all the flooring. So no trick o treating this year, but since Ethan is still little, he wasn't disappointed. Thankfully our things weren't damaged, but the smell was horrid, it was a really terrible experience and we can't wait to move. We spent about a week at my brother's house and we sure are grateful that we had family close by to help us out! Anyways, here's a look at our masterpieces and a little crazy photo of Jordon with a knife:

Ethan loves pretend play and I've enjoyed buying a few costume items at the dollar store this fall... here's a look at what he likes to do while watching Sleeping Beauty, he loves fighting the dragon!!!

We enjoyed our first snowfall in October... though we've had very little snow this winter overall (and I'm not complaining one bit!)

Silly boy was throwing snow at mommy and loving it!

Creative ways of watching movies...

We had a Marquis family thanksgiving at my parents house. So I got to enjoy having both sets of parents at Thanksgiving this year. Jean & Randilinn were the master chefs and did an excellent job! The food was delicious!

I've had some fun learning a little more about photography and my camera... I had a little fun taking some sepia photos (please bear with me while I'm learning and improving my photography skills... I still have MUCH to learn):

And of course I had to add some great photos of my Momma because it was her birthday, so we also had a little party with pie and presents. I just loved capturing her beautiful smiles while she opened gifts.

Cache thought it was fun to have a bath in the kitchen sink (I have a picture of Ethan doing this at about his age... so funny!)

we tried getting pictures of the boys together, but this was the best we got:

and here they are having great adventures together.

More updates shortly...
