Marquis Mommy Adventures: December 2011

Ethan and I decided to stay at my parents after Thanksgiving. I have had trouble with my health (both physical and mental) and needed some help, and Jordon was heading into finals. So he headed back home for a few weeks and we stayed and played with Grammy and Papa Felt. It was a great help for me and Ethan sure enjoyed all the play time with his grandparents. I made their basement into our little home and it became quite comfy there! Jordon came back in mid december and we stayed through till close to New Years. Here's some photos from our December adventures:

We found a great little kitchen at the thrift store and brought it back to Grammy's.

Cooking Cheetos, animal cookies and pretzels... what a meal!

Mom & I got tickets from a friend to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert! This year featured Jane Seymour and Nathan Gunn (He's got a gorgeous voice). The photos aren't great because I was trying to "sneak" take them with no flash... but here's a photo of the stage before start and then one of mom and I. It was a great concert!

We walked around Temple Square afterwards and enjoyed the beautiful lights around the temple!

Then we ate a late dinner at the Lion House! YUM!!! Thanks for a great night mom!

Grammy was busy in December making baked goods almost every day to give to neighbors and friends... and for us all to enjoy too! We decided to decorate sugar cookies one night, Ethan especially enjoyed the sprinkles... his cookies were filled with mounds of sprinkles.

Grammy got more train tracks at Ikea this year to give to Ethan, so we made giant train tracks and watched Polar Express (over and over and over and over.... )
