New Doo

I recieved a wonderful Easter gift from family (thank you!) for a gift certificate to my favorite salon. I had needed a cut and had wanted to get it colored again. I colored it a year ago to a really dark brown and loved it. It just makes me feel glamorous. So today I got it cut and colored. It took 2 1/2 hours with the color and cutting and thinning my thick hair, and getting it perfect. Plus I always request her to curl my hair at the end with her flat  iron (a trick she taught me a year ago) because it makes it look so cute. So here's the before/after shots for those interested:

I love the color and cut and my stylist is always awesome in what she does. I just wish I could do it more often. Getting your hair done sure can make a girl feel good about herself (of course it could also go the opposite and make you feel bad if it didn't turn out right... thank goodness I already had done it before and knew it'd be just great). 

I joked with my stylist that I should have my husband take me out tonight since I look so hot, but unfortunately he's got too much to do with the end of the semester coming quickly. She said "honey, you gotta make time!" and we just laughed. So instead, I ran a quick errand to Wal Mart so I could "show off" my new doo somewhere in public and pick up a few groceries. That's it for now...
