So I have fallen behind on my blogging. Let’s see… well last Saturday we

had our annual Guns vs. Hoses baseball game (police vs. fire). This year we made some special shirts to wear during the game (see picture). Only here’s the catch… the cops never showed! What a bunch of weenies! But we had enough people show for the department that we split into two teams and played each other. It was a blast! Jordon had to work and came late in the game, so Ethan was momentarily adopted here and there by others when it was my turn to bat. We had a lot of fun.

Jordon’s school load this semester is easier than last, so I actually get to see him in the evenings! It’s really exciting. He loves being home with Ethan and I. He always says he misses his little boy everyday while he’s at school. Well I can’t blame him, Ethan is the cutest baby ever! He’s the kind of kid that as soon as the sun hits his window in the morning he’s awake and making noise like he’s saying “ok! I’m ready to get up!

Come get me!” And then as soon as you pick him up, he’s just the happiest little guy for the next hour just looking around at everything, smiling and talking to you. So even though I’m exhausted at 7:30 or 8am, I still love that hour with him when he’s just so happy and content. Then he gets hungry and cranky because he’s tired and that’s about when I lay down with him on the couch for a little morning snooze.
Ethan got his first round of shots last week. He handled them fairly well, which I’m grateful for. I have a tough time with the immunization schedule we have these days.

There are so many darn immunizations all grouped into one and its so controversial about putting so many things into such a little body. But with my public health education (since that is my major), I also

understand the importance of all these immunizations. So it’s hard… I feel like I’m being pulled in two different directions at the same time. But so far he’s done well with them, which is good.
We’ve found out recently a great way to keep this kid clean! Well whenever daddy takes a shower, I usually hand him Ethan to shower with him. Ethan really doesn’t mind the shower as long as he’s being held. You’ll be holding him and all of a sudden feel him licking your arm or shoulder as he’s trying to lick all the water off. It’s pretty funny. He really does so many cute and funny things, Jordon and I laugh all the time about everything he does. We really

enjoy being parents.
Well Jordon bought a laptop from school with some of his grant money and it came with a webcam. So today we called both Grammy’s and Papa’s and connected to the webcam so they could see their fast growing grandbaby. I think they really enjoyed it. It sure was fun for us too and we hope to do it often.

Ethan is getting so chubby. It sounds like Ethan is on a pretty good sleeping schedule.
Oh my gosh he's so cute!@!@! Not that i'm suprised in the least, but its fun to see! He's also growing up! Getting so big, and he looks like a very contented baby. You must be doing things right!
