Ethan giggles now! It's the cutest sound I've ever heard. We discovered this on thursday when Jordon and I were playing with Ethan one morning and he just started giggling over and over again. Yesterday I was bouncing him up and down on my lap and he and I were just giggling back and forth with eachother. It's contagious! He giggles, which makes me giggle, and then it makes him giggle. It's quite fun! He's also trying more and more to sit up. I'll prop him up on the couch with pillows and he'll pull himself to a sitting position and then just plop over on his side. It's cute and fun to watch him learn. I am amazed everday how fast he grows. I thought I'd share another list of funny things about Ethan now that he's 3 months old.
1. He's still very talkative while I'm changing his diaper, he loves to talk to you while lying on the changing table
2. He's a wiggle worm, but he also likes to just chill at times during the day. He likes to just sit on the couch with his hands together looking at them or sucking on them and watching everything going on around him
3. the tv is the most interesting thing in the room when it's on. He gets glued to it sometimes just like his daddy and papa Marquis!
4. He raises his eyebrows alot when looking at you, it's quite funny looking.
5. He loves to spit up all over daddy's shirts!(or church suits)
6. Life is so darn interesting that he'd keep his eyes open all day and night long if he could. In fact, sometimes I have to put my hand over his eyes at night just so he'll finally close them and fall asleep. I think he's got tiny invisible tooth picks holding those eye lids open sometimes!
7. he loves to interact with people, he'll be all upset about something and then as soon as I come sit with him and talk to him, he'll just smile and talk back.
8. If I talk while he's eating, he'll pull away and look up at me with this face like "hey, you're interrupting my chow time!" or "what am I missing? something exciting? what is it?" So I have to be quiet while he eats, other wise he'll get distracted.
Well those are a few cute little things I can think of right now. We are still fighting the nap business. But we slept in our crib for 1 1/2 hours on monday and he's sleeping in his crib right now too! I'm hoping that eventually he'll be able to just sleep in his crib for naps ALL the time! It's been a long and tiring 2 weeks so far trying to teach him. I give in alot and just put him on my chest when i'm too tired and impatient. But I at least try to get him to sleep in his crib at least once or twice a day. Well I better get some homework done before he wakes up!

Yeah for Christmas Music! I started listening to it in August. That is normally when I start and then listen to it into January. Good stuff!
